Home Wifi Networking

Mesh WiFi or Whole Home WiFi system is made up of a main router that connects directly to your  ISP modem, network nodes, placed around your house for full WiFi coverage. They are all configured to be part of a single wireless network using the same SSID (Service Set Identifier) and password.

In traditional Wifi connections you have just router and ISP modem, but the bottleneck is that you still encounter buffering issues when you try to stream video in some areas in your home. These areas are technical described as dead zones. You may keep calling your Internet Service Provider (ISP) to check if everything is ok. But the chances are, that your WiFi (Wireless Fidelity) is not set up efficiently for a mesh WiFi system.

What is slowing down your Network? The weakened signal or WiFi dead spots could be the result of physical obstructions. Simple things like the floor, doors, and walls of your home can come between you and your router, especially if they’re made of metal, brick, or concrete.

Or perhaps the distance is simply too great in a large home, and your traditional router is only capable of reaching as far as the kitchen, but not to the backyard, the garage, or a distant bedroom depending where it is positioned. Interference from other devices could also be the cause, things like your microwave, cordless phone, or baby monitor.

Blanketing your home with WiFi. A better solution is WiFi that works with your home design, instead of against it. A standard router Wifi works in a way that when you move so far from it,  the signal starts to wane, and eventually it may cut out altogether.

Guest Network concept. Integration of a guest network on your Home Wifi keeps your primary WiFi network safe from intrusion, blocking outside users from accessing your personal data. You can still provide Internet access to your visitors and house workers without compromising the security of your main network. Simply configure the guest settings into your home Wifi and assign a different SSID and password for your guests.
